You can legally grow your own medical cannabis in Canada at home or have a designated producer grow it for you. Thirdly, you can register with a Health Canada approved commercial producer and purchase your medical marijuana legally online and have it shipped directly to your door by bonded courier.
The way individuals access cannabis for medical purposes is changing. As of August 24, 2016, the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) came into effect and replaces the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR)
